Originated in the bustling streets of India, chaat is a savoury mouth-watering fresh snack typically served at the roadside from stalls or food carts. Busting with bold flavours and textures, chaat is so alive with crunch, spice, tang you start you cant stop!
There are a number of chaat, both hot and cold with Chaat Station currently offering:
Papdi Chaat – Crunchy pastry discs, served with spiced potatoes, chickpeas and onions. Topped with a cooling yoghurt, sweet date and mint sauce. Finished with some crispy noddles and fragrant coriander.
Pani Puri also called GolGuppa – these round, hollow puri are similar to the above except they are stuffed with the filling and sauces and served with a strong flavoured water.
